In the latest season, fans get to see how Angela and Michael work through their relationship as long-distance starts getting tough for them. Despite getting married, the pair finds it hard to get Michael’s relationship. As the latest season highlights their relationship, it will also look into Angela’s weight loss journey.
Angela’s before and after picture explored
In an interview, Angela revealed she lost 100lbs after undergoing weight loss surgery. Even though Michael had his doubts about Angela’s weight loss, she admitted that it was the best decision she had ever made.
She said: “I’m just so glad that I did it because my health is so much better now. I feel like if I didn’t have the surgery that I was going to have a heart attack.” Angela also revealed that she got five surgeries done in one day.
Aside from gastric bypass surgery, Angela revealed she also got a breast reduction and liposuction done. At the same time, the doctors found two hernias that had to be taken care of as well.
Angela admitted she has to still focus on her lifestyle to make sure she does not gain the weight back. She said: “It’ll get you started but you have to do the lifestyle change with it because it doesn’t mean you can’t gain the weight back a couple years later. You can.” However, she is focused to make it work.
Did Michael support Angela’s weight loss surgery?
On the previous season, several people got to see that Michael was not supportive of Angela’s decision. In the interview, Angela admitted it was the same even off-camera.
She said: “I can tell you he was a butt. He was a total a**. I can tell you that I was in this alone. You know, I did my boobs and he loved my boobs. I don’t know if it was just him not being a part of it because he’s over there at the time or what, but we went through it.”
