Brooke Shields looked breezy and elegant while out in New York City this weekend.

The Blue Lagoon star debuted an elevated look Saturday: a silky white jumpsuit by her model-turned-designer friend Helena Christensen, styled with gold and silver accessories. The airy piece featured a low wrap neckline, plaid print in white matte, and built-in belt that buttoned on the side.

Shields paired the jumpsuit with electric silver pointed-toe heels and an ivory quilted Chanel shoulder bag with a chain strap. She accessorized with layered gold chain necklaces, various rings, and dainty gold hoop earrings.

The 57-year-old model and actress kept her beauty look natural and left her brunette hair down in loose waves. She flashed a rosy smile as she walked down the street and caught sight of photographers.

Shields and Christensen are longtime friends, having worked together as models over the decades. Both were especially popular in the '80s and '90s, though Shields was also a professional child and teen model in the '70s.

Now, Christensen has entered the fashion design world, and Shields continues to expand her Hollywood career. Most recently, she appeared as the lead in the Netflix original holiday romantic comedy A Castle for Christmas, in which she plays an American author who travels to Scotland and falls in love with a castle and the man who owns it.

When she's not starring in films, Shields is running her nonprofit, Beginning Is Now, which is "a global community consisting of women of all ages finding strength, wisdom, optimism, humor, and so much more in each other," per the organization's website.
